Our Programs
EDUCATION & LITERACY
On April 7, 2018, 25 students adopted by Aadhar Foundation for Mechanical Engineering Education were felicitated for their brilliant achievements. Special awards were given to the students studying at Abhinav Engineering College Bhor through Aadhar Foundation. All the students are working in reputed companies in Pune and Mumbai. Aadhar Foundation kept its promise made to them.
HEALTH & SANITATION
NGO Aadhar Foundation organizes free medical camps in rural and urban areas to improve healthcare access for underprivileged communities. Services include diabetes, blood pressure, and haemoglobin testing, medical consultation by qualified doctors, free medicines, and nutritional support for malnourished and elderly individuals.
WOMEN EMPOWERMENT
Women, especially poor women in rural areas, remain the invisible
backbone of their households and communities. However, their many
disadvantages - poor education, limited opportunities for skills
training, few property rights, and restrictive social norms - mean low
paying labour work is often their only option. Whatever they earn is
almost always spent on improving the quality of life of their families.
Our program aims to provide these women with opportunities to earn
independent incomes, helping to strengthen their position as decision
makers in their families and in their communities. There is a special
focus on ultra-poor women - those living in extreme poverty that are
the only earning members of their families and have no assets or
regular incomes.
TRIBAL / ADIVASI DEVELOPMENT
When the COVID-19 pandemic arrived NGO Aadhar Foundation
Bahuuddeshiy Sevabhavi Sanstha Mahad, Dist. Raigad engaged
in a rapid assessment of the situation among communities like
Adivasis, Dhangars, Tribal, daily wage workers and even migrant
workers and realized that the situation of the workers was far more
complicated and needed immediate help especially in terms of food,
grains and clothes and medical help.
NGO Aadhar foundation and civil society groups, and charity
organizations have come forward to distribute free food and ration
packets to hundreds of daily wagers rendered jobless due to the
current lockdown.
